We need: 15-20 Volunteers!!

This is a fantastic opportunity to show our community spirit and help frame a house for a very deserving family who otherwise might not have the resources to buy their home by conventional methods.  For those who don’t know it, H4H home owners are required to put in a set amount of “sweat equity” during the construction of their house which automatically gives them a special sense of ownership and we get to play a big part in that.

  • No construction experience is necessary and you do not have to bring any tools. If you have a favorite hammer and nail bag, by all means bring it. Work gloves are provided onsite if you don’t own any.
  • Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Shoes must be closed toe shoes for safety so no flip flops or sandals.  If you have your own hardhat and safety glasses, I would suggest bringing them.
  • Family members 16 or older may participate.
  • We will have water on-hand for our volunteers and lunch is provided. I plan to bring some donuts and Kolaches for breakfast.
  • I will be sending out a waiver that will need to be completed and brought to the site or returned to me.

Please don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.
